Project Brief

Covenant Groups is built on the belief that spiritually healthy men are essential to strong marriages, families, and churches. Unlike passive Bible study formats, these small groups are rooted in relational spirituality, real connection, daily disciplines, and deep accountability.

The ministry supports men in developing consistent spiritual habits and provides training, resources, and tools for churches to introduce and sustain these groups. At the heart of it all is a commitment to personal growth and authentic fellowship.

The brand needed to reflect the seriousness of that mission. It had to communicate strength, structure, and faith without losing approachability. With a growing vision to equip leaders, rebrand journal resources, and expand digital presence, Covenant Groups required an identity that could carry both theological weight and practical clarity.

The Solution

As I started shaping the identity, I kept coming back to Ephesians 6. The armor of God. Not just a metaphor, but a real picture of what this brand needed to carry. Belt of truth. Breastplate of righteousness. Shield of faith. And how I could mold these abstract ideas into something visually deeper.

The logo brings that idea to life. It’s built from three key elements: a castle, a family crest, and the initials CG. The castle stands for strength and protection. The crest connects to legacy, identity, and purpose. The monogram pulls it all together in a way that’s bold but still approachable.

Every piece of the design has meaning. Each shape inside the mark ties back to a part of the armor, a reminder of what men are walking into when they commit to this journey. It’s more than a mark. It’s a declaration. A call to live with integrity, to build lasting brotherhood, and to take faith seriously.

This brand needed to say something before a single word was spoken.
